+Download and extract OSCAD_installer.tar.gz to your PC/Laptop's Desktop. Make the installation files executable by doing the following:
+
+1. Open the terminal
+2. Type the following:
+    cd Desktop
+    sudo chmod -R 777 OSCAD_installer 
+    Give the root password when prompted
+
+Now follow the instructions given in the Spoken tutorial "Introduction to Oscad" to install Oscad.
